“For just over a year now Krusht has consistently wowed me. He is an artist who not only has an obvious knack for creating beats both soothing and exciting at once, but he is also constantly striving for growth. Both of his early EPs (Back To The Forest & By The Pool) show range between them while still having obvious points to tie the two together, with the most obvious being how fun and danceable the tracks are. He sent over this new banger last night with the news of his debut LP. “Orange Sky” actually will not appear on the record, but Krusht has said it is indicative of the album’s sound and his evolution as a producer. The song was inspired by a game of catch underneath LA’s polluted skyline, which often creates stunning lighting effects across . As dusk fell the entire atmosphere had an orange glow, attributing to the first time I’ve been somewhat thankful for pollution, for without it we may not have this wonderful new banger from Krusht.”

Video features ‘Stay Awake Don’t Rest’ By myself, Krusht
This installation is a Super Furniture. It is a building that is slightly too small, and a furniture that is kind of too big. Two of the past project that are a part of the Super-Furniture Series include the Briefcase House and White Elephant (Privately Soft). The previous iterations of this series has been widely covered, published and discussed, including BLDGBLOG, ArchDaily, archinect, Evolo,Architizer, etc. In addition, the transformation of the practice from comics to installation can be witnessed in a very early coverage by archinect in 2006.
This installation will house Jimenez Lai for a few weeks inside the Architecture Foundation in London where he will live inside the gallery as a part of the performance, on display for the world to see. We are going to Youtube it.
Heftner/Bueys House can also be thought of as an 1:1 comic book that the people can literally walk into and become a part of a story.
Lai has also spoken around the world, including this lecture on the genre of architectural installations in University of Michigan earlier in 2012.
